Andrea Kaubris and Jeanne Walton
Jeanne and Andrea crossed paths during a Cheese Making Tour at Masseria Fragnite, a local farm in Ceglie Messipica, Puglia, Italy. While relaxing and enjoying specialty meats, cheeses, breads and wines amidst the olive groves, they quickly realized that they share a love for food and travel. With Jeanne’s expertise in culinary event planning and Andrea’s vast experience guiding travel throughout the world, the idea for designing international retreats that focus on relaxation and food was born.
The two traveled extensively in Central America to refine their ideas and develop their first retreat. Their retreats will always celebrate the foods, culture and people of the destination while ensuring that pure relaxation is paramount to the entire experience. They hope you can join them for a custom retreat planned to help you savor the delights of a foreign land while you bask in its beauty.
Andrea Kaubris has been involved in the travel industry for the past 30 years. She founded, owned and operated two retail travel agencies and one online agency. Andrea traveled extensively, created tours and led groups to numerous destinations: skiing in Europe & South America, New Years Eve celebrations in Bermuda & Canada, heritage tours to Lithuania, voluntourism in the Azores, student tours in Italy. She recently spent three months living in Italy where she explored the small villages of Puglia, did lots of wine & olive oil tastings and volunteered on a farm harvesting olives. Andrea is currently “retired” and spends her free time traveling the globe, finding new destinations to explore, people to meet and food & wine to enjoy.
Jeanne Walton loves to show off her culinary skill, throw a great party, and wow guests with innovative ideas. She has an incredible passion for creating amazing and beautiful events that emphasize culinary perfection, and the finest attention to detail. Her keen eye for creating spectacular events makes her our “go to” during our trips to ensure that they are beautiful and delicious— surpassing all of our expectations! ,
Jeanne has two amazing children, she loves to travel and experience new cultures, cook for friends and family, entertain with style, dabble in interior decorating, explore on foot or bicycle, and read everything from contemporary fiction to self-help books!
